Happy Bikes is a company by cyclists for cyclists.

We love Hamburg and have a mission:
We want to give everyone the opportunity to safely get to know the most beautiful city in the world on a bike and have a lot of fun at the same time. Happy bikes, happy life :)

We would be happy to share our passion for bicycles with you, and we can also make a small contribution to environmental protection and sustainability.

Founder and owner of Happy Bikes

We are Steffen and Willi – the team behind Happy bikes.

Willi has Happy bikes Founded in 2023, Steffen has been on board since 2025. We share not only a passion for cycling, but also a desire to provide you with unforgettable experiences on two wheels.
While Willi is responsible for marketing at Happy Bikes, Steffen takes care of the care and maintenance of the bikes.

Together with our fantastic team, we want to help you discover Hamburg in the most beautiful way: right in the heart of it all, actively, with lots of fun – and in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.

We provide helmets, locks, and cell phone holders free of charge.

With us, you don't pay any booking or service fees. This sets us apart from most of our competitors in Hamburg, where you have to pay a service fee shortly before completing your booking. Not with us!

Our location

We are located directly in Hamburg’s city center and within walking distance of the main train station, town hall and the famous shopping street “Mönckebergstrasse” (Schultzweg 7).

If you're arriving by public transport, we recommend getting off at the "Hauptbahnhof Süd" subway station on line U3 (a 2-minute walk). Alternatively, you can take any other line to the main station.
