Bike tour Elbe views and stair district

Highlights of this tour

Our guided bike tour starts at Happy Bikes and takes us through some of Hamburg's most beautiful areas. From here, we cycle through the historic Speicherstadt (warehouse district) and the modern HafenCity, where tradition and contemporary architecture perfectly complement each other.

We then drive past the lively Portuguese Quarter and along the impressive Landungsbrücken (St. Pauli Piers). Always following the Elbe River, we enjoy magnificent views of the water, the Port of Hamburg, and the city's maritime flair – with a bit of luck, accompanied by sunshine.

The route takes us past elegant villas to Blankenese. There we explore the famous stair district with its winding alleys, charming houses and breathtaking views of the Elbe.

Finally, we take the S-Bahn back to Hamburg city center and return together to Happy Bikes.

We start this tour at our location at Schultzweg 7. This is located directly in Hamburg city center and is within walking distance of the main train station, the town hall and the famous shopping street “Mönckebergstrasse”.

If you are arriving by public transport, we recommend getting off at the "Hauptbahnhof Süd" (Main Station South) subway station on line U3 (2-minute walk). Alternatively, you can also take any other line to the main train station.

Where do the guided bike tours start?
The start and end of our bicycle city tours is usually at Schultzweg 7, 20097 Hamburg.
Do I have to register in advance for a guided bike tour?
Yes, prior registration is a prerequisite for participation. We have to check whether there are still places and bikes available for the desired participation date.
What happens if it rains on the day of the bike tour?
In this case, we will definitely meet at our store and then see how the weather develops. Most of the time the shower passes so we can get started. You are welcome to borrow rain ponchos from us free of charge.
Can we also book a private bike tour?
Of course. We also conduct our guided bike tours for individual groups at times of your choosing.
Until when can I cancel free of charge?
Bike tours can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 days in advance; after that, a fee of 50% of the cost will be charged. For cancellations within 48 hours of the tour start, the full price is due.
