Highlights of this tour

Our guided bike tour starts right at our location at Happy Bikes. From here, we cycle past Hamburg Central Station and immerse ourselves in the vibrant St. Georg district. Along the famous Lange Reihe, we experience urban flair before reaching the beautiful Alster lake.

Passing impressive buildings and the idyllic Fairy Pond, we cycle directly along the water's edge to the northernmost point of the Outer Alster Lake. There, we follow the towpath and discover the most beautiful and spectacular villas of Winterhude. In this green and elegant district, we stop for a relaxing café break and enjoy a short rest.

We then continue our tour along the cycle path by the Outer Alster Lake. Passing beautiful houses and the former American embassy, we slowly approach Hamburg's city center. With a view of the City Hall, we reach the Inner Alster Lake, which we cycle around.

Finally, we roll back to Happy Bikes via the well-known Mönckebergstraße – with many new impressions and a real Hamburg feeling.

We start this tour at our location at Schultzweg 7. This is located directly in Hamburg city center and is within walking distance of the main train station, the town hall and the famous shopping street “Mönckebergstrasse”.

If you are arriving by public transport, we recommend getting off at the "Hauptbahnhof Süd" (Main Station South) subway station on line U3 (2-minute walk). Alternatively, you can also take any other line to the main train station.

The start and end of our bicycle city tours is usually at Schultzweg 7, 20097 Hamburg.
Do I have to register in advance for a guided bike tour?
Yes, prior registration is a prerequisite for participation. We have to check whether there are still places and bikes available for the desired participation date.
What happens if it rains on the day of the bike tour?
In this case, we will definitely meet at our store and then see how the weather develops. Most of the time the shower passes so we can get started. You are welcome to borrow rain ponchos from us free of charge.
Can we also book a private bike tour?
Of course. We also conduct our guided bike tours for individual groups at times of your choosing.
Until when can I cancel free of charge?
Bicycle tours can be canceled free of charge up to 2 days in advance, after which 50 % of the costs will be charged. If canceled within 24 hours before the start of the tour, the full price will be charged.
